From my field guide B. capensis has 27-29 scale rows, but other older sources (before the split between capensis and fuliginosis) quote 25-35 scale rows.
So can one assume anything with >29 scale rows is fuliginosis???
Can't really tell from the pics, but certainly looks like less that 29 rows so that would mean capensis.
