Sharp Nosed Reed Frog Setup

Here's a pic of my sharp nosed reed frog setup, and the inhabitants.


The enclosure is currently housing nine of these frogs.

What are they like to keep? Would you be breeding and selling any?

I hope you don't mind answering a few questions, but frog keeping is not a common hobby in RSA.

The set-up looks good. Do you use normal tap water or any special type of water? Do you spray them and how often? How long have you had them? What do you feed them?

I use tap water, it is not so bad here in Malawi. I spray them every second day. I have only had these particular ones for a week, but I have kept others for half a year, before letting them go due to a Holiday. I feed the fruit flys, which I catch by placing a bottle with bananas outside, and leaving it there for a day or two.

If you have kept the for 6 months using the current methods, I am sure it's successful.

Just be careful of some tap water because it contains chlorine.
