Last year I got some silkworm eggs with the intention of feeding them to my 2 AFT's as treats. After some initial setbacks, I have a good batch going this year so only started trying to feed them over the weekend. My geckos, being raised on mainly crickets and the occasional roach, however don't seem at all interested in tasting anything that's not powdered white and goes chirp in the night... The worms' swaying and movement, even powdered white themselves, don't seem to be enough to trigger the same tail wagging hunting response that crickets and roaches do?
Any ideas on how to get them to at least take a bite? Persistence?
