identification help please

This might be a striped skink (in the Kalahari), but I cannot find a positive id. can anyone help please

Hi Charles

That is Trachylepis sulcata, I think they're called Western Rock Skinks.

This would be a female. The males are usually uniform bronze with a black chin or even completely black.
