rc-112e

Postby gekosin » Sun Nov 23, 2014 10:10 pm

Hi all,

I bought an rc -112e temperature controller and am just a bit confused about how to wire it.

I followed the diagram supplied but am not sure what the normal close is for.

Wired it as follows for now but it does not seem to be working
1 + 2 load
3 empty (normal close)
4 + 5 sensor
6 + 7 power

Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Hi

How is it not working , is it lighting up ie is their power to the device ? or is their power but the sensor doesnt work ?
Bear in mind these devices come as 110v or 24DC and various other formats. You need the 220v version , do you have the 220v version ?

Hope this helps

Hi Andrew,

Apologies for not explaining properly. The device powers on and i am able to "set" the temps but it does not seem to be heating, i do have the 220v variant. The device is currently reading 20 degrees (confirmed with a thermometer),

I set the device as follows
HC - set to H
low temp - 30
high temp - 35

Change your load to work on 1 and 3 so that the load is normally on(closed circuit) but turns off when relay turns on(reaches temp).

Before you do what I said on the previous post, On pins 1,2 and 3 do any of them say C, COM or Ground?

The diagram shows pin 2 is COM so you must connect you heater to pins 2 and 3.

If you connect pins 1 and 2 that's basically for cooling because your load will only turn on when you hit your set temps.

Thanks for the assistance. Still don't seem to be coming right though. I went as far as testing the hearing pad to make sure it works. The thermostat is currently reading 23 but won't go higher...

Howsit

I sell the STC 1000 which is very similar but has a cooling function aswell.
I have attached a quick wiring diagram for them that should work on your thermostat aswell
If you still don't come right, add me on whatsapp then ill send you photos of the wiring.

Cheers
