Fresh Venomous Watch Springs

Well, woke up to an early Christmas present this morning... Well, a whole bunch of prezzies actually...

I was blessed enough to be able to experience this first hand, and take some photos of the event as it unfolded. Sadly, I couldn't document each and every one, as some had already been born, and then I had a call out for a mole snake just outside of town, that I had to end up digging out of a veld rat tunnel maze, on my own... The locals were too scared to go near the hole, and refused to help...

19 little beastly watch springs in total, no slugs at all. I will sex, and sort them out when I get home this evening, as today was just a mad rush... Some of them had shed immediately after birth, and some are still in the process of doing so...

Just watch them. As soon as they have shed they start eating and they will even eat each other.

Ok, I must apologise... I mis-counted, and there are 20 little beasties. By my count, there are 11 males and 9 females. I'm happy with those odds. I may have mis-sexed one or two of them, so please correct me where you see I'm wrong...

Kakibos, I do know the locality of the mother, and assume that the father would have been from the same area.

Sjoe, not sure if you intend to keep any, but for me f5 and f6 are DEFINITELY keepers while with the males I would say m4 and m6.

Thanks all. Westley, It's hard deciding. But those are on the list, as well as M7. Time will tell how they color up, and I will wait for a few sheds to pass, before I make my final decision.
