Brown house snake eggs

Postby Shaunrp » Sun Jan 04, 2015 8:33 pm

Just wanted to know what the best way is to tell whether my snake eggs are still healthy and living. The were laid about 60 to 70 days ago and should be hatching any day now, but just want to know how I can tell whether they are still alive. Their colour is still white and the are still plump and firm.

Shine a torch or other light source through them. (Called Candling) You should be able to see the snakes and bloodvessels in the eggs.

I did do that, I can make out the snake and some blood vessels but the eggs look dark inside, I'm hoping the snakes are just going to he quite large when they hatch
