Postby Wallas » Tue Oct 14, 2014 9:10 am

Good day all,

I took the liberty to start this topic.

It involves
- how to obtain permits for each province, what must be done, cost involve, who to contact
- clubs
- training
- useful links
- snake catchers

I know their is information regarding this already on some places on the forum, but please feel free to add to this list.
Then we can obtain the information at one place and I can keep and updated word document and might be useful for a project coming soon to us all.

Can anybody shed some light on requirments for the Free State. Nobody here is willing to assist. Do you need permits for all exotic's in the FS or just some? Even if an animal does not appear on the list that went around recently we get told that you are not allowed to have them and if found in your possesion they will be confiscated and put to sleep. At this stage I am contemplating going the legal route with my lawyer. Just need some input from anybody in the know. I do know thar venemous is forbidden but surely there must be some criteria for other animals.
