Yeah that is exactly what I was thinking we can all finally put faces to names of some of the forum members that will be attending the Expo.

I think it to be an excellent idea. Maybe Heidi can set up a table somewhere, and we can meet there say between 14h00 and 16h00, on each day respectively, or just hang around the Meet and Greet table during the two days.

Slightly off topic, i am extremely excited for the expo. I would just like to find out if/ how the changes in the law are going to affect what people have for sale? There are so many conflicting stories regarding the permits not being received/ issued as of yet. Is there a risk of the expo's being shut down in any way?

There'll probably be tons of ball pythons! I do hope it won't affect the show too much. Looking forward to it,as usual

Nope we have asked environmental affairs to make certain concessions for the expo which they are discussing and then we will know where we stand. Only a handful of species are affected and we hope to have a solution before then.

I dont know what the Randburg expo organisers have done in this regard. Every year they seem to pick up problems. If it is not Projek Aardwolf then it is 50/50 or the NSPCA or something.

We will set up a time for a meet and greet. 3pm will probably work best as in the mornings the expo tends to be very busy and I usually miss these meet and greets.

I will confirm closer to the time.
