Humidifiers

Humidifiers

Postby ewertb » Mon Apr 06, 2015 5:47 pm

My one female ball python recently went through a bad shed, likely due to inadequate humidity inside her current tub. I keep my animals on newspaper which does not help much with holding humidity so, as I have a dedicated reptile room that I heat entirely to the correct ambient temperature, I'm thinking of installing similar 'room-wide' humidity control instead of trying to battle with achieving the required humidity in each individual tub. The problem now is finding a decent, off-the-shelf humidifier (preferably with built in humidistat) that I can use to up the rooms' approx. 8m2 space to around 60%. I'm currently thinking of either http://www.kalahari.com/Appliances/Elek ... p_46848094 or http://www.kalahari.com/Appliances/Elek ... p_46848072.

What do you guys use for increasing the room humidity?
