ATC-300 thermostat not beeping?

ATC-300 thermostat not beeping?

Postby krah » Mon Apr 27, 2015 4:15 pm

Hi guys

I need a technical wizard to help me out. I have an ATC-300 thermostat and the temp alarm no longer beeps when the temp is out of the set range? I'm pretty sure I didnt accidently turn it off as I havent been meddling with it? It still turns the heaters on and off when necessary. Is there some way to turn it on and off? Or a way to check if its broken? Its still pretty new so I really dont want to have to replace it.

Thanks

could possibly be a faulty speaker or lose wire.. i havnt seen any options to mute the sound.. so im guessing its technical fault..

quickest way... open it up and then use a multimeter on the speaker itself.

I don't have the user manual with me but you can switch them on and off, either pressing the Temp & Time buttons at the same time or by pressing the Up & Down arrow buttons at the same time.
Check the user manual, has instructions there.

Hi guys

Mitton what you have said is to turn it off when it is beeping. Mine doesnt beep at all. I will get my friend to check it with a multimeter, hopefully its just a bad connection and its still safe to use.

No, pressing any single button stops it from beeping, pressing both switches the alarm on and off. Check the manual.
