Help with Hemidactylus mabouia

I found a Gecko (Hemidactylus mabouia) on Sunday night outside that was behaving oddly. Seemed stunned or sick as it didn't try to move when I picked it up. I put it in a potplant outside my door and expected to see it gone the next day.
But it was still in the same spot. It's been sitting in that potplant since then and doesn't move alot, but it's still alive. It does have damage to it's one eye but other than that seems fine. My question is, should I bring it indoors and keep a closer eye on it? Also it's been cold today and I'm worried about it. If I do being it in, what would I feed it. Anyone heard of a gecko acting like this? Thanks

As harsh as it may sound, euthanize it humanely. Besides it being listed in invasive alien regulations and is of no conservation/ ecological significance in South Africa (apart from being snake food) the poor thing must be suffering, so ja, end its misery.
