My BHS (Very Photo Heavy)

To get a permit for a BHS you can simply buy from someone with permits for his animals.

Or you can buy from someone in KZN (where they do not require permits) who can then apply for an export permit from KZN to you.

It's not as much effort as it sounds.

I am very confused at the moment, 3 weeks after the shed she has not dropped any eggs, or even made any attempt to drop eggs.
I post a pic I took of her on Monday. She still looks Gravid, and I will monitor her to see if she goes back into the blue in the next week or so.
I f she does, then just maybe I will have eggs after that shed.

Updated Pic.

I always tell people that snakes dont read the books we do, so they're not sure when we expect them to do what :smt005

Just be a bit more patient, she does look ready to pop and she'll do it in her own time. I wouldn't stress just yet.

I had that happen to me when I started breeding housies, turned out that its after the next shed that they will lay. I suspect you're going to have another shedding then she'll lay.

Thanks Westley and Ian.
Unfortunately patience is not one of my stronger virtues.
I will try to be patient, but even if I am not, there is nothing I can do about it.

Good Call Ian

I last checked on her on Tuesday evening, so when I got home from work last night, I decided to do a check.
She is in the blue, so I reckon that at the latest, I will have eggs around payday. 25 March.

Good Day All

She shed yesterday, so I expect eggs somewhere between 23 and 28 March.
Nature sometimes however has it's own time table.
