Duberria lutrix feeding

Just a few phone pics. I have such a soft spot for these snakes. The hatchlings in the area are getting bigger and when I encounter one I often offer it a slug/snail before returning it to the property. They normally never decline the free brunch. This particular snake couldnt get the head and ending up making a bit of a mess.

That is awesome, would love to have a few Slug-Eaters in my garden.

Having them in your garden is nice but sad part is that they always seem to end up under the lawnmower or chopped up by the edge trimmers.

These guys are pretty secretive hey so luckily that hasn't happened yet. Ya we are really lucky to share the space with so many different reptiles.

Very cool pics.

This is the first species I kept with any sort of success so they will always have a soft spot with me.
