Have anybody ever experienced, heard of or seen small lizards getting sunburn from a UV light??

firefly - I assume you are talking about the UV lighting in cages...

These lights are mostly UVB With no or very little UVA. The amount of UVB radiation is also of such a quantity that it won't cause sunburn of any kind.
Some people love reptiles other are reptiles...

It depends what UV lights you are using.

If the UV lights malfunction it is possible.

UV lights yes... okay here it is. it is possible!! saw two baby iguanas with severe sunburn from UV ligts. apparently a problem with the lights yes
