My purchases from the latest ATN show (Northern France)

Here is what I bought last Sunday:

-WC pair of Gekko ulikovskii for another member of my forum,€50 the pair:





-New pair of Hyla cinerea,I have 2:2 now:







-CB female Paroedura picta, from a German seller:







-Male CB Paroedura picta from the same guy:







Both are voracious feeders and I'm really glad of this purchase.

-1:2 Tropiocolotes tripolitanus ssp. :












They were sold as steudneris but the male is only 57 mm adult size (full length) and the females 51 and 54 mm.They are all WC and both females are more than obviously gravid.All are good feeders.

Martijn from this forum already gave some help,but could someone give me details about the subspecies ID?It is possible both females are of a different subspecies,and the male has a subsequently longer tail.Any info about the locality,microhabitat,precise biotope and habits welcome,though I have read as much as I could before purchasing.

Yes it is great to see some obscure species. It is amazing how those P. pictus geckos can resemble a Chondrodactylus (Giant Ground Gecko) in body shape and pattern.

I wont be able to help on the Tropiocolotes ID. The first time I ever saw these geckos was from your posts. Lovely animals though.

Cheers for the comments,much appreciated.Apart from the microgeckos,all other species are fairly common in the reptile shows here.Maybe SA does not have so many importers from Asia or other parts of the world as we do in Europe?

I'm currently making researches about their precise location,subspecies are hard to distinguish from one another but this should give more info about the precise wild range.Will let you know asap.

I really think you should come to "Expo Syd" here in Sweden. It´s in a town in southern part of Sweden called Kristianstad the 25:th of August. It´s not as big as Terraristika Hamm, but I think you would like it anyway...
