Interesting Christmas gifts anyone?

Postby Boadicea » Mon Jan 07, 2008 1:19 pm

So did any of you guys get anything interesting for Christmas? Even if you bought it yourself it's still a prezzie no?
I got myself a baby potbellied pig. :D Will post some pics later. He is the cutest little thing. Still have to feed him with a bottle every two to 3 hours.

Oh no!!! Potbellies make horrible pets. They are cute though... as babies!!! Is it an inside or outside pet?

I didn't get anything interesting really, except for hatchling cornsnakes. lol

My Alter ego decided that I was a Good Boy in 2007 so i/we/he decided that I/we/he need a new SLR. So I gave myself a Canon Rebel Xti Digital camera.

Now I need to convince myself, my bank manager and my alter ego to buy me a nice big lens.

My girlfriends parents gave me the book Boas and Pythons of the World by Mark O'Shea. I think it is a nice book.

Ha Ha Ha Ha!!

I received the New Encyclopoedia on Snakes by Chris Mattison from Tatiana, very interesting.

@Spoon I am honoured!
LOL@LJS maybe she was hinting that you do some cooking
@Sean your piggy is a very unusual colour if the photos are true. She looks reddish. She is very pretty. Mine is black.
@steve. I am very jealous. Those sound like some stunning and unusual exotics

Boadicea, Note the hosepipe in the backround.

That reddish colour is just her mudpack.

She has a mudhole in her sty and it keeps her skin in excellent condition as well as keeping the parasites off and her body temp down when it gets to hot (pigs can't sweat).
