I found the Stiletto on a road in Sherwood. The terrapin is in a secret location. ;)

Terrapins can be found in almost any open water in the country. If you find the right spot there are usually hundreds of them.

Really nice photos and great finds. Was this one night or a couple of nights?
You know, you can touch a stick of dynamite, but if you touch a venomous snake it’ll turn around and bite you and kill you so fast it’s not even funny.

Thanks :)
The Centipede Eater, Whip scorpion, Night Adder and Caco were on different nights. The rest were from last night, although I saw another Night Adder last night as well. Haven't seen any for a few months, they seem to be coming out now. Saw 2 in 2 days.

Nice finds and some great photography man.

The Greater Leaf-folding Frog picture is my favourite. Great shot!

Please don't take the following comment as offensive, but do you crop some of your pictures? I notice some of the pics look a bit "grainy" as if it was cropped.

Thanks for the comments :D

Westley, I don't crop them. I also noticed that, I think its because it's only a 10 megapixel camera. I have a SLR with more megapixels, but I don't have a macro lens so I don't get as close as I would like. The camera, a Nikon COOLPIX P100, is what I use for the small things to get close-ups. I also zoom in a bit, because the lens blocks the flash a bit if the animal is too close.

Fooble, the Bronze Caco was in my garden in Sherwood. I have two small ponds and there is quite a lot of them all around the ponds. The ponds have been there for about 3 years and this is the first time they've come. They make a huge noise for such a small frog!
