My first reptile hatching success!

My first reptile hatching success!

Postby Lillypod » Mon Feb 18, 2013 8:24 am

My sister bought a gravid corn without knowing and when she dropped eggs my sister gave them to me to hatch. I had a small custom built incubator I made for my leopard geckos. To my surprise the eggs are hatching! It is day 59. It is the best feeling ever!

Hatching striped corns for a first timer. Well done.

Thanks! I'm really excited, need to get containers ready. I was expecting them to only hatch in another 2 - 3 days. So was surprised when I took a peek and saw snakes.

Well done and congrats! Christmas all over again:)
One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today.

What a lovely surprise! Maybe you'll get some striped snows out of this clutch as well ... the potential is certainly there :)

Congrats!

Guys I have a problem, my sister made a verbal deal with me that I can keep 2 babies and sell the rest, where the money goes to her, but I get R50 for each baby, now she says I get nothing! I cannot believe it, my own sister is a crook!

Doesn't sound very fair to me ... especially since you successfully incubated and hatched them :(
