What would be the best substrate to keep them on as I've got astroturf but don't know how good it is?

I kept my babies in tarantula cages, with moist moss at the bottom. Don't keep them too hot or too cold and they'll be happy! Luckily those white lips are already already feeding on pinks so you're sorted! :)

Just remember to warn the family that these snakes do have some venom and they should not touch your animals. I know they had reservations about you getting more snakes.

MAKE SURE THEY DO NOT ESCAPE.

Ask me what happens if your venomous snakes escape in you mothers house................And if you're lucky your younger brother finds it before your mom does.............basically to make a long story short, the next weekend I drove him all the way to Ermelo to go and visit a girlfriend, all on my expenses without complaining even a little. And your parents want to know why all of a sudden I am so nice to my younger brother.

So to sum it up! A mom finding a venomous snake in her house.......priceless. Paying for your brother's trip (the little blackmailing b@stard) to Ermelo, theres always mastercard!!!!

Yeah BV no one ever opens any of my tanks without me being there, and I've managed to get a venomous sticker for the tank so people will know. Once my parents saw them they actually seem quite chilled with them but still a bit wary.

Lol LJS, If my bro was to find one, there would be nothing I could do to keep him quiet from telling my parents.

Lol @ serpy.

Thanks bradmiller.

Does any body know if the moss in the pic below would be ok for my white lips and amazons, to cover the floor of the tank as I found it on the rocks at our pond? No pesticides have been sprayed.

The moss should be okay. Just rinse it very well.

LJS. That is so weird you mentioning an escapee in our moms house on a topic regarding white lips. My very first white lip did just that, unfortunately I did not have a younger brother at the time to find it. So my mom did, an got tagged in the process. Needless to say I was not very popular for weeks after that. I guess the fact that she had started a new job that exact day she got tagged did not help at all.

She was busy making coffee and the container was empty, so she opened the bottom cabinet to take some coffee out and the white lip was not about to let the tin go without a fight...

Where did you get your plastic plants from?
