Re: First eggs......ever!!!

Congratulations on the egg/s.
Great feeling.
I would recommend investing in an incubator if breeding is something you want to be doing in the future.

Re: Confirm ID please?

Definitely looks like a Wolf Snake.
Most literature (old and new) mentions a few isolated records around the Cape. Maybe not a common find but certainly possible.
Wolf Snake would be my bet anyway.

Thank you chaps.
Enjoying working with elapsoidea. On a personal level it has been very rewarding.

Re: Zambezi Garter Snake eggs.

The Boulengeri hatched this morning. http://www.sareptiles.co.za/gallery/albums/userpics/14483/Tub_small.jpg http://www.sareptiles.co.za/gallery/albums/userpics/14483/Full_Body_small.jpg Six fat healthy babies. Unfortunately checked them just before work this morning so only managed a few quick pics...

Re: Hello from Midrand

Your description doesn't sound unlike a Mozambique Spitter. Being from KZN im not sure how common they are around Midrand but worth being cautious.

Re: where can I shame someones name

I am not sure there is a specific platform devoted to shaming people who are unethical.
Why not explain the situation here without revealing the persons name first...sometimes these things are just simple misunderstandings.
