I looked for maculata, but didnt see any. Didn't get a chance to go road cruising unfortunately. Need to go back there soon! Love Zululand!

Thanks. :D There were 2 small dams in a grassland, and they were surrounded by reeds so it was perfect for frogs! They also had a lot of rain. Couldn't hear anything but frogs!

Frogging in Hluhluwe

I recently stayed at a place called Hakuna Matata, 30 minutes from Hluhuwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve. They have a couple of small dams there. I went looking for frogs and snakes around them at night. I found 10 species of frogs, but suprisingly, no snakes! Frogs: Painted Reed Frog- Hyperolius marmoratus...
