Thanks! Slug eaters are really common throughout the Western cape you really have to try hard not to find them :lol:

I'll argue that. Aroura's are not common in Kwa Zulu Natal at all. You will not find them in coastal regions in KZN certainly no where near Balito. I would get them an actual rodent cube it's a complete diet and i would supplement the feed with what you said.
Look fro AVI rodent cubes or Epol rodent cubes the later is cheaper but not as good in my opinion.

Looks great! Nice and neat. How are you intending to feed them though, by placing the food on the grid? Personally i would have put some vents in the food on the ride just to increase the airflow. One thing i would recommend is removing/covering the holes in the tubs as mice will use the holes as a ...

That's really interesting! Thanks for sharing Bjorn I've always been cautious around Varanus simply because the bites HURT even from the mechanical damage.
