You can also try the flea market, just up the road from Pet masters. I know there are a view Chinese stalls that sell it as mantelpieces, Flora farm is another place you would find that might be more attractive.

As far as the hint, the other two rattles that occur in AZ are to my knowledge are
Crotalus mitchellii stephensi - Southwestern speckled rattlesnake
and
Crotalus tigris - Tiger rattlesnake
