That's great, seeing as it just happened means you are keeping them very happy.
I am not sure if the tail will grow back like how Cresties wont regrow theirs.

Very awesome. Huge congratulations. I had a quick look on the net and it appears that all Leaf tail geckos regenerate their tails.

yes Thorshamri confirmed for me that the tail will regrow, albeit smaller than the original. Now the tough thing is keeping him alive and well in this ridiculous hot spell we are having in Hazyview. Keeping "him" nice and hydrated, but the cooling factor is difficult to implement.

What I used to do with my Cresteds in a heatwave is take a couple ice cubes and place it ontop of the mesh of their exo terra terrariums. Kept the terrarium nice and cool.
