S.Tiger Retic update

S.Tiger Retic update

Postby Snow » Tue Jul 12, 2011 7:53 am

Howzit all,

I Thought i will share a few pics of my Super Tiger female.

i am still amazed at how these animals grow. I have had her on a really relaxed feeding regime (mostly due to the lack of BIG feeder item)

As a baby in 2004

now like 7 years later and after one successfull breeding season in 2009

LOL - waiting for a chirp about the faggy green gloves. (she's abit snappy when you touch her at first)

hope you all enjoyed the pics.

Now a few questions,

Anybody out there got a decent sized albino male that they might be interesed in selling or a possible breeding loan?

Anybody got a decent size (breedable) normal or tiger female for sale that i can pair up with my Super tiger male?

Anybody got access to big feeder items (reasonable prices) i live in PTA east and have alot of sheep farmers (small scale) close so i am trying to get any still born / dead at early age lambs. has anybody fed lamb's to the snakes?
Otherwise any help with pigglits, big bunnies, unwanted family members for my big girl to eat,

wnat to to have a smoking breeding season this year........ :D
Keep it real !

Awesome snake mate. One question what do you keep her in?
There are a few decent retics around. So it wont be to hard to find. What I can suggest is contact some pig farmers mate for some piglets...
I am looking in to getting some retics. Just need to settle down again and build a big enough enclosure!
Dont bite, strike!!!!

Dont keep it real, keep it EXOTIC!!!

Snow I have a nine year old sister if you would like, but we are in Cape Town. Lovely retic you have there. How close am I if I say she is 4m in length? Enjoy her, do not know of any other food that I could supply...

I'd say closer to 4,5m unless the person holding the snake is very short

Lets say guy in photo is 1.8+- that is an average length, he does not look a lot taller than 1.9... then the snake is 2 times his lengh and around a third of the guy's length on the floor :D Making him a good 4.2 - 4.4m and with that I am meaning to say, that super tiger still has a lot to go :D I want a retic, just do not have the space :D

The guy happens to be over 1.9 metres. That snake is pretty big and those wussy gloves would not help if she was really aggro.

Snow a buddy of mine has stud retic males that are less than 3 metres in length. He never lets them get bigger than this by regulating their food. Apparently it is not cruel and they breed like flies. They are also puppy dog tame which is not what you would expect if he was starving his retics.

Possibly next year I might have a male to lend you.

Hi all,

Thanks for all the replies,

I am about 1.94m that puts her at about 4.5 + I like to say she's 5m it just sounds better

Snow I have a nine year old sister if you would like,

Can you please send me a Pic :D just kidding

@ Bushviper i agree the gloves wont help much if she was really pissed of, however she seems calmer when i pick her up when i have the gloves on, bare handed she can be a bit otherwise. please keep me up to date on those "studMales" what morphs are they?

HEHEHE at least we have intelligence to read past a typing error.

Snow that snake is awesome, I cannot stop thinking that every time I open this thread. I'm still waiting for that buddy of mine to get back to me on the piglets for you. Will PM you when I hear from him.
