sodwana road cruising

Postby charl.dbn » Tue Feb 01, 2011 8:22 pm

Found this little guy over the weekend in sodwana, road cruising at about 8pm.I found him as i drove around a blind corner, where i saw two of our darker bretheren were walking backwards...i then saw the snake in front of them. when i ran up to the snake, the guys asked "i want a steeeek to to to bash that snake"(by the way this was the parks board of sodwana bay area, not too sure what its called)after catching the snake they asked me what i was going to do with the snake, i said i will release it far away from them and they were happy with that..

sorry about the not so good picture

ya fooble..got bell hinged tortoises, a tinker reed frog i think its called..found about 15 hatchling flap neck chameleons and some adults..the adults have very dotty markings, different to the ones i have seen here.found a huge forest cobra but that was in the forest so the bugger got away..wanted to grab him to take nice pix..and as i left the nature reserve, some rode over a boomslang in front of me..i put him on the side of the road as he was struggling..came back that afternoon to take pix..he is quite a decent size
