ALbino Burmese breeders

ALbino Burmese breeders

Postby Unforgiven » Mon Aug 13, 2012 11:43 am

Hi guys, can's seem to get into the burmese section of the forum as my work server blocks the site.

My question is, who are the good albino burmese breeders? I saw a thread back in 2008 that hatchlings can be picked up for around 750. What is the going rate now?

I think they go for between R900 - R1600 for albino hatchlings.

Got mine for R1200 and she's 6months old. Rather pay a bit more but go for a reliable breeder.

Sadly, but also understandably Sly says he might take a break from breeding his big snakes this year. I really like his animals so if I dont find another good breeder I'll wait another year

I would like to pay 1000 tops, but 1500 is still fair when you compare the price to albino boas

As everybody that has a burm would tell you.... they are amazing snakes and tame extremely well. Tjey are beautiful and have great personalities.

But the do get MASSIVE they easily reach 70kg and sometimes over 100. Get a weight and try to imagine it....

Used to do a lot of drills at school carrying guys, especially during rugby practise, but I imagine this will be a lot harder to do with an unco-operative snake. Thats why I wanna get atleast some experience. Reason I want to get a hatchling is so that right from the start I can learn to read it. I could not imagine randomly 1 day going to a pet store coming home with a full grown burm.
