common wilderness snakes

We are holidaying in the wilderness area and while cycling/jogging have already seen 12 dead ( :( )7snakes on the roads. They are thin snakes, 6" to 12" long and olive green in color. Can someone identify them from this limited description? Is there one particularly common snake in the area?

On the roads along serpentine just outside wilderness village. No real stripes that we noticed.

Most common dead on road snakes I find are Boomslang and Olive house snakes. They are abundant in the Wilderness area.

Well at 15 to 30 cm they cannot be boomslang so are probably Olive house (ground) snakes.
