That is a wolf snake (Lycophidion sp.) :D how cute man! so tiny!
It is harmless, where about did you find it?

With the nasal band, that looks like a Pygmy Wolf Snake (Lycophidion pygmaeum) from Northern Zululand. A great find!

Tanks for correction there Pythonodipsas, there is very little information on this species.

Never seen Lycophion pygmaeum in the flesh, looks like such a beautiful little snake though!Just look at that pretty belly. Thanks for sharing. Really nice.

I know these are very small, but are there any of them in captivity successfull?
Mabey any other wolf snakes?

This must be a stowaway or escapee, because Durban would be a massive range extension.

@nvlooi - In captivity some refuse to eat, but most wolf snakes 'should' take skinks if offered. They are semi-fossorial so a suitable substrate with flat rocks or bark will ensure captive success.
