First Trip of 2015, St Lucia - Kwa Zulu Natal.

So it's a new year and what better way to start it off with a quick trip.
Did a Two day trip to St Lucia and here are some of the results unfortunately for one reason or another I didn't photograph all the species encountered.

Amblyodipsas microphthalma microphthalma - Eastern Gloss Snake x 1
Amietophrynus garmani - Eastern olive toad x 9
Bradypodion setaroi - Setaro's Dwarf Chameleon x 2
Chamaeleo dilepis - Flap Neck Chameleon x 3
Dendroaspis angusticeps - Eastern Green Mamba x 2
Dipsadoboa aulica - Marbled Tree Snake x 1
Kinixys zombensis - Eastern Hinged Tortoise x 1
Leptopelis natalensis - Natal Forest Tree Frog x 8
Lycophidion pygmaeum - Pygmy Wolf Snake x 1
Philothamnus hoplogaster - South Eastern Green Snake x2
Philothamnus semivariegatus - Spotted Bush Snake x 1
Philothamnus natalensis natalensis - Eastern Natal Green Snake x 3
Phrynomantis bifasciatus - Red Banded Rubber Frog x 1
Scelotes fitzsimonsi - Fitzsimons Dwarf Burrowing Skink x 3

Particularly excited about this, I've never found nor seen one fo these and its actually the most Southern Part of it's range.

Awesome finds man!

The Amblyodipsas microphthalma and Lycophidion pygmaeum are real special finds.

Wow! Amazing species!! Congrats. We were just there herping in the day 1 of january. That place is magic!! Hippos, zebras and many amphibians and reptiles around that wet forests

Spectacular photos. The Dipsadoboa is a really gorgeous creature !
The pygmy wolf is a very cool find too.

To be honest it wasn't a great successful trip in terms of species the saving grace was the Eastern Gloss Snake. Good Habitat it's hard not to find snakes.
