Hey guys,

Im afraid im a fish keeper so reptiles aren't by forte... I can identify the majority of snakes in my area (West of Durban) but this guy has me beat. Closest I have come is either a Stiletto Snake or a Purple Glossy Snake. Typically my wife found it in the bathroom........ yesterday we had a juvenile centipede eater in the same spot.

Please help ID>

Cheers,

Greg

Belated thanks to you guys for responding. After the advice from a mate I looked it up and was pretty happy with the ID. He/She was kept overnight to ensure there were no injuries and released the following day into the local Nature Reserve.

Cheers,\
