One of the Bradypodion I've been missing off my list for a long time, strangely enough only a 2 and a half hour drive from my house! Thankfully managed to kick this one off eventually.

Interestingly many of individuals I found where during the day which is most unusual for field herping in the province.

Now that is nice. How come they dont have a proper name yet?

They've just not finalised the papers yet, a long road ahead.

They're sexually dimorphic, the males are much brighter in colour and usually much smaller. There is also a pronounced bulge in the tail on males.

Very cool Mr. T.

Wasnt aware of the existence of this species.

I am 100% sure there are Bradipodion sp to be found in Moz and Zim if one looks hard enough. How could the be so firmly establish with a variety of species in SA but nowhere else?
