Best Display Lizard?

Best Display Lizard?

Postby moey » Mon Jan 13, 2014 9:17 am

I'm pretty new to reptiles and I've only had a Bearded Dragon before... Right now, I'm looking for a display Lizard... I think a Veiled Chameleon would be a good starter, but I'd like to explore my options... Any ideas guys?

Panther Chameleons are stunning! Plumed Basilisks make good display lizards but not good pets, check the latest Ultimate Exotics mag they have an article on them.

Good day I would recommend something like a leopard gecko there is a huge variety of morphs here in SA that make beautiful pets or if you looking for something more lizard like I would say maybe look at something like an iguana or a frilled lizard
Every good story seems to begin with a snake.

For me it's the Chinese Water Dragon! They are available from time to time.

Crested geckos also come in a variety of lovely morphs and you can set them up some really beautiful rainforest themed vivariums. I have done the same. Next on the list is a giant leachianus gecko
