Rinkhals unusual or not?

Hi guys would love to know the Joburg herpers thoughts on this 6 month old, is this animals colours and patterns unusually different? or are most juvies found around Joburg this colour and darken later to black, or silver green with age.

The reason i'm asking is that i grew up in Joburg and have found numerous Rinkhals, never seen one like this, maybe someone has keep or bred these before, specifically from Johannesburg.

Thanking you all in advance

Looks to me quite a bit lighter than others I've seen. This one, almost has a silver colour to it vs the "dirty" colour I've always seen them with.
Perhaps it's due to it being a juvinile and it'll darken up as it gets older? I've never bred them, but on the Southern side of Joeys, they're fairly common and we encounter them on a regular basis. None have looked quite like this though.
Stunning animal indeed.

I think when young they do look like this and only go dark as they get older.
Here's another small one that looks similar: viewtopic.php?f=145&t=18373

I have never seen one so light in colour either, looks almost silver, if it carries this thru to adulthood, there could possibly be some interesting breeding projects to look into.
Id hang onto it!

Thanks for the info....

Steve: Yes she has the most remarkable silver base colour, i been watching with each shed to see if she darkens up...nothing so far, well hoping she keeps this colour...fantastic little snake eats like a monocle cobra, let see, will keep you posted.
