Please identify species of Rat snake

Hi There

Please could somebody help me identify this specific species of Rat snake, some say its a Morph of a Thai Bamboo rat snake but im not sure?

It's gorgeous! I have no idea of the species/morph though...

It's a young Oreocryptophis P. vaillanti.

They turn more orange and lose the bands as adults, but that is a fairly typical baby.

There are a few floating around RSA.

From a bit of googling I think it is a Thai bamboo rat snake, but not sure which one, cause I see there are a few...

It's not a Thai Bamboo Ratsnake, but a different subspecies of the same species. Not sure of the common name.

The Thai Bamboos turn bright orange and most lose the banding completely, leaving a striped orange snake. Gorgeous!

Hmmm, if I had to guess a pair of babies would sell for R12,000.00 or there abouts.

A few years back the uglier laticintas sold for R18,000.00 a pair, but prices have come down a lot.
