Loving her! I love how her head "bobs" to the wind, like she is imitating a branch blowing in the wind.

Congrats on the new addition and well done for getting an established one.

I kept these quite successfully, but the hatchlings were quite difficult to get going; they require assist feeding for the first 4-6 months before taking meals on their own.

But a very rewarding species to keep!

Congrats on your new addition ghoti ! One of my absolute favorites ! I can't wait to breed them again this season. They just do it for me.

I have really pimped out her habitat. I have two water bowls for her. A large one which sits over a heating pad and a smaller one on the cool side of the habitat. She loves spending a lot of time in the big bowl. She has a hot spot in the tank of 31 degrees and a cool side (room temp). What I noticed about her is she ducks her head under water and pretends to be a dead leaf. I watched her hold her breath for about a minute before I walked away. I dont know how long she can hold her breath and I dont want her to drown. Anyone know how long they hold their breath for?

Took this picture of her doing her underwater dead leaf impersonation.

Mine will literally sit under the water the entire day for weeks on end. I haven't actually sat down to see how long they stay under for but it's definitely long ghoti.
