Sorry there is no pics from of this snake on here.It is just a normal guess.
Basicaly give away info but here goes.

I am black and can vary to maroon.
Eat snakes especially fer-de-lances.
Mildly venomous but constrict my prey.
I am a oviparous colubrid.
I am normaly 1.5 to 1.6 m long.
Not realy aggressive.
I am immune to venomous snakes venom in my area.
I am very rare.
My common and scientific name is?

You forgot to add "I can also be convinced to eat rodents in captivity."

Well the Butantan institute has a statue erected in honour of this snake because of its usefulness in reducing venomous snake bites. Farmers in Brazil keep these as pets around the house so that they will eat venomous snakes.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Yes its other name is Cribo.So nearly everyone is right!Not too much of a hard quiz, more of a rare snake.
I always keep a supply of stimulant handy in case I see a snake, which I also keep handy.

The name Cribo is mainly used for the Indigo snakes and more especially for the Yellow tailed Cribo (Drymarchon corais) which also occasionally eats snakes.

The Mussurana is Clelia clelia and is one of about 6 or 7 different species that herpetologist was referring to.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
