Permits for Gecko's

Postby NicoG » Sun Jul 22, 2012 7:30 pm

Hi, was wondering if anyone knew how to get a permit in Western Cape if you intend buying a gecko from Gauteng. Western Cape Nature requires that you give a permit number on your captivity license. I have heard that they will confiscate any pets obtained without this. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.

What gecko is it?
Certain species are blacklisted in the Western Cape and you WILL NOT be granted a permit.
Organized crime comes in more forms than one.

Hi, I am trying to get some Gargoyle Gecko's. I understand they have about the same requirements as the cresties, which I know is not a problem in Western Cape.
