Seeing they are being sold now... Can anybody tell me anything about them and they are probably illegal to have, right?

In KZN it seems you can smuggle in anything and sell it without getting into trouble. Owning it at this stage is not a crime.
In all other provinces they will take it away , give you a hefty fine and euthanase the animals.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.
