Roughscaled lizard from Zambia

Hey guys,

Hope you can help me identifying this breeding male Ichnotropis. I'm convinced it's Ichnotropis but don't know which ones occur in Liuwa Plain National Park where I photographed it. Could it be I. capensis?

From pictures I have, it looks like I. capensis, and I know they do occur in Zambia, but I'm not too sure about the distribution.

Having said that, there is another species in Zambia, I. bivittata, which looks quite similar to capensis, so I cannot tell you which one of those two species it is.

From what I can see off Google, bivittata is less boldly patterned and the snout is almost patternless. Also, there seems to be lateral spots on this species.

So to conclude, my best guess would be I. capensis.
