Colubrid Hatchling Rack.

Decided to build a hatchling rack to match the one we recently built for my breeding adults. It holds 60 tubs & Is fully heated. I'm very pleased with the end result...
Found these amazing tubs, such a perfect size!
Got the ball rolling.
Installed heating.

Very neat and well built!
How does this rack do with humidity? I guess is you seal the joints with silicone, it will live forever.

Thank you guys! Uniformity is what I was aiming to achieve Tyrone! Wesley, you get a product called woodfiller, which seals the edges nicely, otherwise like you said, silicone gets the job done aswell. Snake kid the tubs are 340mm by 25mm, most small colubrids can probably live in there till about 2 years of age I recon.
I'll take orders the day I have space & don't need to build these things in my kombuis! lol

It's great having all the racks look the same.
One thing Dean for your next build, on the back your racks what i do is cut a channel down the length of the Side piece
And lay the cable in the channel shown by the green (pink shows where the channels would be cut)
Just a thought makes the end result nice and neat. ( not that yours is messy).

The reason I did it this way is that if something goes wrong with the heat wire, I just screw off the macenite backboard & replacing the cable is a dead easy job. Thanks for the awesome drawing to illustrate your point!
