Rat Rack system with gravity feed!

Rat Rack system with gravity feed!

Postby Izzy » Thu Aug 29, 2013 6:16 pm

Hi peeps after some reading on the forum and watching more YouTube videos than i care to mention here is the rack that i built to supply my snakes with with their future "snake cuisine" I was rather keen to have a gravity fed system, and after finding out how difficult it is to get those fancy valves the guys use on YouTube, here in South Africa, i found a post here on the forum of someone suggesting the use of chicken hatchery valve's. Well a tire valve and hose clamp further and i was done.

Anyway enough yapping here's the pics.

WOW!! Great work there man. You'll get quite a few babies from that...I am just a little curious, would it be possible at all for you to email me the measurements of that rack :), I wouldn't want to be too forward in asking this so I would understand if you declined :). I am upgrading my racks soon and would love to use that design. Anyway congrats on the build, really great stuff man.

Very Nice, I'm also looking at those chicken water nipples, do they hold pressure well? have you had any problems with drips or floods?

Cheers,
Colin

Very nice, well done.
I'm in the process of building my self a racking system, I have 15 baby rats that I'm growing for my breeding stock and also have been looking and watching videos for Ideas.

I'm not sure where I saw it, but someone was selling those valves for the water system for racking system, I'm sure it was a local online site, I thought I had booked marked it but I did not.
