p.s I was wondering about one thing...even though these are considered non-venomous,they have a enlarged tooth/fang that is covered by a membrane that seems swolen and seems to produce venom...Are they maybe in the same boat as the radiated rats that has a venom/toxin simmular to cobra venom and are still considered harmless(whitch they are ?Seeing lots of people have taken bites from them...)... :?:

They are absolutely stunning! They are such interesting looking snakes. Where / whom did you get them from? I've asked around in Durban a bit but no luck so far... Congrats on your new babies!

Very nice. Just one question, that light, are you going to put some sort of covering around it so they can't burn themselves if they use it as a perch?

Thanks Marc...
I keep my Ahaetulla in the same way and they use it as a perch...I was worried about it at first but they do not seem to get very hot at all... ;)

Hmm ok but i have heard that snakes can't feel themselves burning and then when its too late their skin ends up burning and sticking to the bulb.
