Update from Dubai

Hi guys.I realise it has been months since an update.Things are still in full steam and the park is almost complete where I shall be working soon.In the meantime,my kombuis has changed into a temparary snakeroom till the park is ready to house them.I will post a propper post once the park is open and I have a bit more time to take pics.For the meantime,here are a few of the critters I am caring for ...

Thanks Wadekillian.They are Desert horned lizzards.Honestly I think these little guys can become very popular in the pet trade.I allready took a liking to them

They are acrylic shoeboxes from Thailand The top ones,I decided to leave the paper on,to give them a bit of privacy.

Ye.Its a goins kingsnake.Dont know if thats the common name for it too?Must say-I took a likingto that too

Good to hear from you again. When do you expect to have the park open. Life must really be a challenge to have your space so cramped.

Very nice snakes. I see your kombuis looks like my lounge did when I had a larger amount of lizards!! Those lizards are really cute. Do we have them in SA? I wouldn't mind a pair!!

Thanks Marion.I honestly have not seen them in the pet trade in SA,but they seem relitively cheap. So far they are doing well,on mealworms,but their food in the wild is Harvester ants,so I will let you all know how they do in the long term and if I am able to source more suitable food for them here.At the moment ,it is all I can get hold of.But certain localities of these lizzards are more hardy than others.
They are not quite as sociable as bearded dragons,but their prehistoric looks makes up for that
Lets hope the sexes are in favour and they do well,then maybe I will attempt to breed them.
